Ranelagh Village takes it's name from the Ranelagh Pleasure Gardens which opened to the public in 1769. Laid out with alcoves and romantic towers for tea drinking, they were the place to be seen for fashionable Dublin Society. Sadly the Pleasure Gardens are long gone (although a small park remains), but with both Ranelagh Village and Dublin City Centre at your doorstep, you'll never be short of things to do. Check out some of our top picks here.
